Suicide Prevention Lifeline

The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline provides 24/7 support for people in distress, as well as prevention and crisis resources.  We are proud to support this new 3-digit dialing code (988).

FCC‘s Ruling on Suicide Prevention Hotline requires carriers to direct 988 calls to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.  As such, all 988 extensions have been removed to avoid calls being routed to the Suicide Prevention Lifeline instead of the intended recipient.

SMS text messaging is also supported for some carriers, but please note MMS to 988 is not possible at this time.  The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline will automatically respond with a welcome message if SMS text messaging is supported.
